Open Road now has an online referral option.

Click on the button at the bottom of this page and complete the form. When you click submit, a copy of your form will be sent to us via a secure network and will be handled confidentially.

You are only required to complete this form once, and someone from your closest centre will get back to you within a maximum of two working days unless you have specified an alternative time.

Please only complete this form if you are the person seeking support for issues relating to drugs, alcohol and steroids.

Who we support

  • Location: We can only take referrals from individuals living in Essex (excluding Southend and Thurrock districts) and Medway. If you are looking for support in Southend please contact Change Grow Live (CGL) on 01702 431889. For support in Thurrock contact Inclusions: 01375 898680.
  • Age: Within Essex, Open Road supports people aged 25 and over. If you are younger than this, then speak to EYPDAS (Essex Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Service)  or complete .
    Within Medway we have a Young People’s service which supports people up to the age of 18 or up to 24 if in looked after care. Our Time to Change service provides support to adults through recovery.
  • The issue: Within Medway, we offer drug and alcohol support. In Essex, we are able to support you if your primary issues are drugs or steroids. If your main issue is alcohol then please contact Phoenix Futures for support. We are able to support you if alcohol is an issue alongside a need for assistance with a drug problem.
